The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is the largest dog training programme in the UK open to all dogs, young or old, pedigree or cross-breed. It provides a quality standard of training for dogs and owners and incorporates many domestic obedience exercises. Dog owners of any fitness level or disability can take part. There are four course levels:

  • Puppy Foundation - 10am - 11.30am
  • Bronze Award - 11.30am - 1pm
  • Silver Award - 1pm - 2.30pm
  • Gold Award - 2.30pm - 4pm

Puppy and Bronze Courses normally take between 6 - 8 weeks to complete but this can vary. Silver and Gold courses take longer. There's the opportunity to progress through the levels with indoor and outdoor elements. More information can be seen on the KC website.
