Welcome to the Naburn village website. Home to about 500 people, hundreds of ducks, dozens of boats, several swans, and even two donkeys, Naburn is a picturesque village lying on the eastern banks of the River Ouse, about 4 miles south of the City of York. You can find our village on a Google map here.

Although geographically small, Naburn is a thriving, vibrant community boasting a host of great amenities and services including our village pub, the village hall, a primary school, a lock, a riding stables, a sailing club, a caravan park, a Post Office & reading room, a marina and a church.

Built and maintained by Naburn residents for their neighbours and visitors to the village, this site is a "one-stop shop" for information about our community. Please enjoy browsing around and send us your feedback and suggestions for developing the site via the "Contact" page.

Please also send in your items for inclusion (events, news, photographs for the gallery etc.). We'd especially love to hear from you with any historical photographs or stories about the village and its residents that we could include in our Village History section.

And don't forget to join our mailing list to be kept informed of village news and events!
